ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)

Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility.

Additional Information

The facility can accommodate scheduling requests for up to 48 hours per week. Further details regarding the work environment, including the number of beds available and the likelihood of floating to other units, will be provided during the interview process.
