ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing position. This role is vital in providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
• Location: City, State

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU nursing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Cerner experience is preferred
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Facility can accommodate scheduling requests for 48 hours per week

Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and families about their health conditions and care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
