ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and other indicators of patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.

Work Schedule

This position offers day shifts, typically from 7 AM to 7 PM. The facility can accommodate scheduling requests for up to 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current and valid registered nurse licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certification are required.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting is required.

For this position, the facility utilizes a specific electronic medical record (EMR) system. Candidates will be informed of dress code and parking details upon hire.
