Number of Beds: 22

Staffing: 58 total staff members including:

• Day Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 1 Unit Secretary, 11 Nurses
• Night Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 11 Nurses

Patient Ratios: 1:2

Equipment Used: CRRT, Vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Arterial Line, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, TTM

Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Job Responsibilities

As an ICU Registered Nurse, your role will include:

• Managing critical care patients with a focus on cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
• Administering pressor medications and managing critical drips.
• Performing arterial line management and related interventions.
• Participating in various procedures including bronchoscopy and central venous catheter (CVC) and arterial line insertions.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Critical Care training
• Experience with pressor medication management
• Experience with arterial line management
• Expertise in critical drip management

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with circulatory devices

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Dress Code

Royal Blue scrubs are required.

Work Schedule

Four weekend shifts are required over a four-week schedule period.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Floating Areas

This position may require floating to ICC, TCU, or other ICU units as needed.

Policies

Candidates are expected to adhere to attendance policies and meet scheduled commitments.
