Job Description:

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. The position requires day shifts with floating to Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (MS) departments. Candidates must have 2+ years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care for ICU patients, including ventilators and titratable drips.
• Complete hygiene care and assist in floating to ER and MS as required.
• Document and manage patient care within the MedHost EMR system.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of ICU experience.
• Experience in ER and Med-Surg settings required.
• Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, and mixing medications preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
