Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for managing patient care in a medical ICU/PCU float environment. This includes the management of patients with complex needs such as sepsis, COPSD, Covid, pneumonia, post-cardiac arrest care, and other critical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in ICU settings and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.
• Titrate drips including sedation, vasoactive medications, and paralytics.
• Interpret and monitor telemetry strips.
• Float between designated floors and participate in rotation schedules.

Requirements:

• WA License or Compact License Required
• Drivers License Required at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CRRN, PCCN preferred
• Specialty skills such as the management of Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and Arctic Sun preferred
