ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a backfill position in the Float Pool. This role requires proficiency in critical care nursing and the ability to adapt quickly to different units as needed.

Location

Flexible assignments available in various locations within City, State.

Shifts

This position involves night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU Registered Nurse.
• Current and valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
