Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Grass Valley, California. This position requires proficiency in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, with the ability to work nights and every other weekend. The successful candidate must possess strong skills in reading and interpreting EKG strips and demonstrates competency in handling various critical care scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients in a 10-bed unit with swing bed capacity, including medical ICU cases and post-anesthesia care unit patients after hours.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met effectively.
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and follow up as per preceptor guidance.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to complete basic dysrhythmia exam through Relias within 24-48 hours of acceptance.
• PALS certification preferred.
