Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to ICU patients with common diagnoses, including trauma, cardiac issues, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, and more.
• Titrate drips as necessary, including cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips.
• Utilize RT equipment from nasal cannulas to ventilators.
• Interpret and document telemetry strips.
• Float to PCU and occasionally MedSurg, maintaining the same patient ratios.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Pass a skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation.
• Driver’s license required for verification of location compliance.
• BSN required.
