Job Description:

The ICU RN position at Carlsbad Medical Center requires total care of ICU patients, including working with ventilators, titratable drips, and providing hygiene care. The role includes floating to ER and Med Surg departments as needed. The nurse must adhere to fingerprint requirements for NM travelers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care to ICU patients, including managing ventilators and titratable drips
• Float to ER to assist with various tasks such as answering call lights and transporting patients
• Float to Med Surg to take full patient assignments or act as an aide
• Ensure compliance with fingerprint requirements for New Mexico

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Experience with ER and Med Surg preferred
• TNCC and experience with medications, patient hygiene preferred
