Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for ICU unit with responsibilities involving a mix of MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU patients. The unit is a single ICU divided into pods and requires nurses not to float into CVICU unless experienced.

Responsibilities:

• Care for complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases.
• Monitor diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, and trauma cases.
• Work with RN to patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, depending on acuity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience excluding travel.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications.
• Completion of a board-approved nursing education program; South Dakota RN licensure.
• Proficiency with Epic and comfort with 48-hour work weeks.
• Experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, and telemetry.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment skills, and team work.
