House Supervisor

Position Overview

The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and coordinating patient care during the night shift. This role requires extensive experience in nursing management and leadership to ensure high-quality care delivery in a healthcare setting.

Shift Information

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with guaranteed hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage patient care activities during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers effectively.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff and administration.
• Address and resolve staffing issues and patient care concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of the contract starting date.
