Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department responsible for providing high-acuity patient care in a Level II trauma environment, with capability for Level I function. This position requires experience in critical care settings and familiarity with systems like Cerner or EPIC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and psychiatric patients.
• Maintain accurate patient ratios, including 1:4 ER and 1:3 ICU holds.
• Perform trach care, vent care, and ICU drip care and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience with recent Level II ER experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI certifications required, as well as NIHSS and TNCC.
• Proficiency in Cerner or Epic EMR systems.
