Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatric patients, including trauma and cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 1:4-5.
• Perform ESI assessments during triage and prioritize patient care based on critical needs.
• Collect evidence and perform patient interviews in cases of sexual assault.
• Demonstrate ability to work in collaboration with ED Techs and other medical staff.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and administer medications using Omnicell and Alaris systems.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a South Dakota Board of Nursing approval.
• Minimum of 2 years ED experience, excluding travel experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS.
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and cardiac patients necessary.
• Comfortable with critical thinking and prioritization skills.
