Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency department. The ideal candidates will be committed to providing exceptional patient care while working in a dynamic environment. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively manage patient needs under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in compliance with established protocols and standards.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Work Schedule
This position requires night shifts with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
