Job Description:

The registered nurse in the Emergency Department provides care for patients with acute medical conditions. Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatric, and psychiatric patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform consistent patient assessments.

Requirements:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI (nationally recognized/JACHO accepted), NIHSS; TNCC required.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cerner or EPIC in a Level II Trauma setting or higher.
