Job Description:

The travel RN in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working primarily night shifts within a team that includes RNs, medics, and MDs to manage a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform EKGs and conscious sedation.
• Conduct wound care and follow established protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• 1-year minimum of current acute care ED RN experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH & PALS.
• Ability to work mid-shift or night shift.
• Preferred: ER charge RN experience and willingness to float between ED departments.
