Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

City/State: Olathe, Kansas

Shift: 12hr Evening/Nights; 3×12 Flex, 15:00-03:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/03/2026 or 08/17/2026

Job Description:

This position involves working in a 29-bed Emergency Department that serves the southern half of Johnson County. The department is a chest pain and primary stroke center, handling daily volumes of around 120 patients. The role requires self-motivated and team-oriented individuals who are comfortable with handling inpatient boarders and are adaptable to rapidly changing conditions.

Responsibilities:

Handle patient care for the Emergency Department.
Provide care for inpatient boarders.
Adapt to rapidly changing conditions within the ED.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in the Emergency Department within the last 12 months.
KS or Multi-State RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & Conscious Sedation Competency required.
Experience preferred: 2 years minimum in the Emergency Department.
Additional certification preferred – TNCC.
Will be required to work up to 3 weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) per pay period.
