Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides care for patients with acute medical issues. The position requires strong teamwork and communication skills, focusing on collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care for patients in emergency situations.
• Utilize equipment such as Rapid Infuser and Glidescope.
• Documentation using Meditech EDM system.
• Participate in unit staffing including working with unit clerks, sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with critical care gtts, sedation, ESI, and codes.
• Advanced skills in STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis; preferred trauma experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
• Approved uniforms required: Charcoal grey scrubs.
