Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in both adult and pediatric emergency care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in critical and urgent conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology for patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of well-rounded experience in both adult and pediatric emergency care.
• Experience in a large facility and Level 1 trauma center preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Shift Availability

The ideal candidate will have availability to start on 5/4, with the latest possible start date being 5/18. Conditional compliance for credentialing will be permitted for candidates with documentation of the process in progress.
