Job Description:

Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of care for patients within the scope of practice. Provides education to patients according to their needs. Transcribes, utilizes and implements protocols and physician orders. Coordinates healthcare team and delegates appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Providing patient education and implementing physician orders.
• Coordinating and delegating tasks within the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
• Certification in a de-escalation program within the first six months of hire.
• Completion of procedural sedation module within six months of hire and every two years thereafter.
• Obtain TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) within six months of hire.
• Highly recommend ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses).
• Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or obtain within six months of hire.
• QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training within one year of hire.
