Typical Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform procedures including IV placement, bloodwork, Foley catheter insertion, and breathing treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR.
• Previous work in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED).

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Additional Information

• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends (4 out of 8 weeks).
