Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is for a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) that manages over 100,000 visits each year and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. The department provides care for a diverse patient population and assists with boarder patients.

Job Requirements

• Current RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience is required
• Previous travel Emergency Room experience is essential

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS Certification

Schedule Information

This position involves rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night schedules. The role requires flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and be available for on-call and callback duties, based on unit needs.
