• Number of Beds: 9
• Staffing: 17 total staff members
• Patient Ratios: 4 patients to 1 RN
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking abilities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, emergency assessments, and medication administration.
• Manage critical patients with proficiency in emergency protocols.
• Administer moderate sedation as required.
• Conduct IV insertions, EKGs, and cardiac monitoring.
• Stabilize trauma patients and support a team-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in triage, emergency assessment, and medication administration.
  • Experience in managing critical patients.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of trauma and stroke care.
  • Ability to administer moderate sedation.
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Schedule

This position requires working rotating weekends, with no on-call responsibilities.
