Registered Nurse (RN): Emergency

Shift Information

Varied shift schedule, including 12-hour shifts with start times of 6 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.

Minimum Experience

2 years of relevant experience required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Current California nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• EPIC charting experience
• Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Room within a Level II trauma center or higher, including experience in Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke
• Current ENPC and TNCC certifications are preferred

About the Opportunity

This position is within a Level II Trauma Center that is also a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center. The emergency department consists of 5 pods and a total of 49 beds with a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1 and an annual volume of 68,000 visits.
