Unit Information

The Emergency Department is designed to provide high-quality care to patients in urgent need of medical attention. Our unit is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and patients.

• Number of Beds: 23
• Number of Staff: 40
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn, GE
• EMR: Meditech

General Information

• Shift Details: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• No Call Required

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• ENPC certification over PALS

Typical Procedures Performed

• Cardioversion
• TNK (Tissue Plasminogen Activator)
• Moderate Sedation
