Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

This position offers night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30, with weekly hours of either 36 or 48 as determined by management.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including the Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Floating to different departments may be required based on patient care needs.

Education and Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
• Acute critical care experience within the last 12 months is preferred.
• Alternatively, EMT and Emergency Department Technician experience with a minimum of 2 years is acceptable, provided the candidate is in good standing.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• MICN certification is desired to be completed within one year of hire.
• Additional certifications such as MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN are encouraged and recommended.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.

Physical Requirements

This role demands frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking, and standing. The position may also require transferring or lifting patients, with a demonstrated capability of lifting 50 pounds from the floor.

Work Environment

The employee will work in an environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids, necessitating the use of protective measures during tasks.
