Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department float pool. The Emergency Department is extremely busy, requiring a focused and adaptable nursing professional to manage care for patients, including those who are boarded and may require medical-surgical, stepdown, or ICU care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Provide support for boarded patients, which may include those in need of medical-surgical, stepdown, or ICU interventions.
• Float to acute units as necessary, ensuring all patients receive appropriate care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma facility.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are required.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
