Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Rockport, TX. This role is critical in providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Unit Information

• Type: Emergency Department
• Beds: 6 rooms, 4 vertical beds
• Staffing: 10 FTE, 4 PRN
• Shifts:
  • Day Shift: 3 RNs including Charge Nurse, 1 Paramedic Mid Shift
  • Night Shift: 3 RNs including Charge Nurse
• Patient Ratios: 3 to 4 patients per nurse
• Equipment: Vital Sign Machine, BiPAP, Ventilator, Nebulizer, Ortho Glass, AED
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Emergency Department experience
• IV Blood Draw
• EKG
• Foley Catheter Insertion
• Ortho Splint Application
• Wound Care

Preferred Skills

• Team collaboration skills

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ALS (Advanced Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
