Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel position in La Porte, IN. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment in a rural emergency department setting.
Key Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Floating: Required to float to Starke Emergency Department every third weekend
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- De-Escalation Training
- 1-2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 23 beds
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 4 or 5 patients per nurse
