Emergency Room Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality service and support for patients in need of emergency services.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 54
• Number of Staff: 125
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters
• Night Shift Staffing: 2 Charge Nurses, 8 RNs, 5 Paramedics
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Electronic Medical Records: Meditech

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Required:
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Room experience
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Preferred:
  • More than 2 years of Emergency Room experience
  • Familiarity with Meditech EHR

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
