Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in the Emergency Room (ER), managing emergency situations, and is expected to work as part of a team within a critical access hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care for traumas, strokes, STEMIs, chest pains, respiratory diagnoses, and lacerations.
• Administer common drips such as heparin and levophed.
• Float to MedSurg as required.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently.

Requirements:

• Current RN license to submit.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Ability to self/team schedule including weekend and holiday rotation.
• 1-3 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
