Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical Swing Unit responsible for patient care in both settings, focusing on either acute or swing bed assignments with expected ratios of 1:4 for acute care and 1:6 for swing beds. Includes possible float to ED holds.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, assessing needs and implementing care plans
• Titrate medication drips as necessary
• Operate and monitor RT equipment, including NEBS and O2
• Float to different units as needed and fulfill charge nurse duties

Requirements:

• Current certification in BLS and ACLS
• Minimum one year of Medical-Surgical experience
• Ability to read telemetry strips as needed
