Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Position Description

Join a dynamic emergency department team that provides exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Our unit is equipped to handle a variety of critical situations and aims to deliver high-quality patient experiences.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 39
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (with a surge bed assigned to each section)
• Unit Staffing: Includes free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, LPNs
• Type of Equipment: Rapid Infuser, Glidescope
• Documentation System: Meditech EDM
• Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating Policy: N/A
• Patient Experience Focus: Emphasis on teamwork in patient care and individual staff attention

Qualifications

• Requested Skill Set:
• Must have experience with critical care medications, sedation procedures, ESI, and emergency codes.
• Advanced skills in STEMI, stroke management, sepsis, and preferably trauma.
• Procedures Performed: Intubation, chest tube insertion, splinting
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant setting

Dress Code

Charcoal grey scrubs are required.
