Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care in an ER setting. This position requires the candidate to have at least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in the Emergency Department/Trauma unit
• Maintain sterile fields and complete tasks such as Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes
• Participate in a float policy across various facilities
• Utilize Cerner EMR for charting

Requirements:

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ATCN
• Ability to read EKG strips and experience with Phillips monitors
