Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) will provide care for patients in a fast-paced trauma environment. The role requires expertise in managing acute and subacute cases, including trauma and burns while ensuring compliance with unit procedures and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and revise treatment plans based on patient status and needs.

Requirements:

Current RN license with a minimum of 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Ability to meet hospital and unit’s specific competencies and skill requirements, including SIMs lab skills and management of sterile fields.
