Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide care to patients of all ages with conditions ranging from minor to critical. They will work in a high-acuity Level 2 trauma center and must be able to manage a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for neonatal to geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of conditions including Sepsis, DKA, Respiratory Illness, and GI bleeds.
• Participate in the evidence collection process for Sexual Assault patients, in rotation with permanent staff.

Requirements:

• 2 years of ED experience required (excluding travel experience); ICU and PCU RN qualified candidates are encouraged.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS are required; CPI or MAB/MOAB is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
