Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for a fast-paced Emergency Department. The position requires experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients.

Responsibilities:

• Barcode scanning med administration
• Managing medication drips
• Blood product administration
• Triage experience required
• Set up chest tubes, art lines, assist with trauma and code cases
• Splinting, bipap/vents, good understanding of ESI
• Working with neonate to geriatric patients in a Level III trauma center

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a high acuity ED
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
• Pediatric emergency medicine experience highly preferred
• Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus
• Must pass hospital’s Triage Test before triage duties are allowed
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
