Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department. The role requires trauma Level 1 experience and the ability to float between multiple facilities. The RN must perform essential skills such as Foley catheter insertion and maintain sterile fields.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Manage assessments, diagnoses, treatment strategies, and patient education for emergency conditions.
• Conduct standardized nursing procedures and practice standards in accordance with policy.
• Participate in SIMs lab for skills assessment and training completion.

Requirements:

• Active RN license and compliance with Arizona state regulations.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 6 months trauma Level 1 experience.
• Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance.
• 2 years of ER experience.
• Ability to read Philips monitor telemetry strips.
