  • PACU (6 bays)
• Number of Staff: Variable, with 8 full-time staff members
• Patient Ratios: Variable
• Equipment: Olympus Scopes and Processors, ION, Olympus US machine, ERBE
• EMR: Cerner, Provation

General Information

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with a focus on Endoscopy. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills directly related to the role. The position includes variable scheduling and requires flexibility.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • At least 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy experience
  • Must possess valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Scheduling flexibility is essential; accommodating block scheduling requests may not be possible
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in pulmonary procedures

Typical Procedures

The Endoscopy unit performs a variety of procedures, including:

• EBUS
• Bronchoscopy
• ION
• EGD
• Colonoscopy
• EUS
• ERCP

Floating Areas

Floating may occur within the Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR, provided prior experience in these areas is held.

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs will be provided for this role.

Weekends and On-Call

The schedule will include participation in 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts every 6 weeks and one night per week.
