Dialysis Technician

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing care to patients undergoing end-stage renal dialysis in a dedicated facility.

Schedule

Shifts are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Facility Details

• Facility Type: 12-chair ESRD facility
• Staffing Ratio: 1 Technician per 4 patients, 1 RN per shift
• Patient Load: 8-12 patients per shift

Responsibilities

The Dialysis Technician will:

• Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Assist in patient treatment to ensure the highest level of care.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any changes in condition.
• Document patient information and treatment in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Certification: CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dialysis setting.
• Experience with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) is required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Renvio.

Uniform

Any scrub color is acceptable for this position.

Location

This position is based in a facility located in Eastland, TX.
