Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support surgeries and cardiovascular procedures. The RN will coordinate patient care, assist the surgical team, and ensure that the operating environment is sterile and safe.
Responsibilities:
- Large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment
- Assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement
- Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical Care experience required, PreOp experience a plus
- BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area
