Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The role requires expertise in scrub and circulate duties in a level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in the CVOR, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assist in scrub and circulating duties for cardiac surgeries.
• Float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed.
• Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties, including some holidays.

Requirements:

• 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center.
• Strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries.
• Active KS RN License and BLS certification.
• Must be nicotine free and comply with facility policies.
