Job Description:

The RN in the CVOR unit is responsible for providing advanced cardiovascular patient care, including assisting in surgery, monitoring vital signs, and administering treatments in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring effective treatment management.
• Titrate medications and maintain life support equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient care delivery.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of two years of CVICU experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IABP, CRRT, and post-operative care from the OR.
• Ability to successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or above within two attempts.
