Shift: 12H Days 6:30 AM-7:00 PM; Call policy: one weekday per week; one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); 3×12 Flex, 07:00 AM-7:00 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The registered nurse (RN) in CVOR will provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit, and is responsible for coordinating care delivery with the physician and surgical team. Scrubbing experience as required for open heart procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform open heart and endovascular procedures.
  • Scrub into surgery to hold the heart and assist with closing the chest.
  • Float to General OR if no CVOR cases or in case of extreme need within defined zones.

Requirements:

  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association required).
  • Open Heart experience and/or Endovascular experience.
