Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This position offers a dynamic work environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVOR and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

This position is located in Hudson, FL.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Variable call schedule required
• Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Unit Information

• Bed Capacity: 309
• Number of Operating Rooms: 12 suite OR, 2 CVORs
• Staffing: 4 RNs and 4 CSTs on the day shift, with night shifts on call
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience
• Main OR experience with a willingness to float to the main OR as needed
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in scrubbing
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Valve replacements
• Thoracic and vascular surgeries
