Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting and will be expected to float to similar Medical/Surgical units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Critical Care Unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient needs.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Illinois Registered Nurse License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting; 3+ years preferred.

Scheduling Details

• Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours (19:00 start)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: 12 hours of orientation (6 hours non-billable)

About the Role

This position requires flexibility to float between like Medical/Surgical Units as necessary. Candidates should be prepared for weekend shifts and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as part of the nursing team.
