Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) will provide advanced care to patients requiring cardiovascular interventions. The role includes working as part of a highly trained team, focusing on critical care, heart surgery recovery, and various heart devices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IABP, IMPELLA, and LVADS care.
• Monitor hemodynamics and perform intubation/extubation.
• Conduct frequent ambulation of patients and manage chest tube and pacer wire removal.

Requirements:

• BLS/ACLS certification.
• Critical Care training and 2 years CVICU or CVRU experience.
