Job Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), focusing on adult and geriatric patients requiring critical post-operative care and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. The role involves floating to other units and hospitals as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients post cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery.
• Participate in complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring and post-operative recovery.
• Exhibit high levels of professional competency.
• Floating to other units and hospitals as required.

Requirements:

• Must have an AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted).
• 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.
• Must have an ASN degree.
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• AHA PALS certification is preferred if working in a pediatric unit.
