Job Description:

The registered nurse will function within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Float Pool, providing critical care services. Responsibilities include managing patient treatment plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Titration of Vesicant Meds
• Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
• Experience with Vents, Trachs, and Telemetry interpretation
• Understanding Hemodynamics and PA Catheter setup and interpretation
• Performing procedures such as Cardioversion and Central line insertion

Requirements:

• ICU experience required
• Ability to interpret telemetry
• Familiarity with PA Catheter setup
• Advanced skills in IABP, Impella, and CRRT are desirable
